The inspo came from a design we saw in Uganda and it was the simplicity of an every day steel screw that we loved, because it gave it that down to earth authentic African vibe and we designed our own wooden body giving it a more contemporary look and feel but without losing the quirkiness and also making it simple to add branding to the back – the PERFECT CORPORATE GIFT 🙂
We recommend regular oiling with a food-safe mineral oil or beeswax to help protect the wood. Please note, that this will also darken the colour and appearance of the timber. Please do not soak or put in a dishwasher, wipe only with a damp cloth. Extreme heat or moisture will negatively affect the stability of the oak.
